Table Rock Lake Fishing Report April 13, 2017

Table Rock Lake level is 912.5 which is about two and a half feet below power pool. The water temperature is right around 60 degrees. The first wave of fish have moved up and are on the spawning beds. I like to leave these fish alone as we need them to have a successful spawn. With the water level being low, chances are our survival rate for the fry will be low also, so please practice catch and release so those fish can have every opportunity to have a successful spawn. You can catch fish right now just about anywhere you fish. We are catching fish on the main lake points and gravel flats with a carolina rigged centepedes and swimming 5 inch grubs or small swimbaits. On windy days we have been catching some on a spinnerbait. If it gets tough for you, just tie on a ned rig and you should be able to catch some fish dragging that around in 12 to 15 feet of water. White bass and a few Crappie are starting to show up in the back of some of the bigger creeks. we have been catching them on small crankbaits. The fish are up and fishing is good on Table Rock Lake, so if your interested in getting in on the action, just give me a call to set up a fishing trip.
Till next time Good fishin’
Jamie
