Table Rock Lake Fishing Report August 31,2017

Table Rock Lake level is 916.6. The water temperature is hanging around 80 degrees. There is a good bite going on first thing in the morning. We are catching most of the fish splitshotting night crawlers. The fish are hanging right off the bottom in 18 to 25 feet of water. After the sun gets up and the bottom bite slows, you need to move out over deeper water as the fish will move out and suspend. We have been catching Kentucky spotted bass, and a few Walleye and Catfish along with some big bluegill. There are a few top water fish to be had but you have to be right on the spot as they will go right back down after they catch the shad they are chasing. With the holiday weekend here, the lake will be busy so get out early and let the pleasure boaters have the lake in the afternoon.

Till next time    Good Fishin’
